When NPR previewed She & Him's Volume Two on their website a week before the drop date, I was ecstatic, and listened to it a lot. I LOVE NPR! Then I bought it when it came out a week ago, and I'm pretty obsessed with it. As an album I like it better than Volume One - which is amazing. Way to avoid the sophomore slump Zooey & Matt!
If you haven't listened to this album yet, what are you waiting for??
Also, on Friday, the lame new karaoke DJ played an amazing song as interstitial music, Love on the Run by Galactic. It's from 1998, and I'm shocked I haven't come across it before, but there it is. Annie HATED it, so if 70's funk blended with early AIR isn't your thing, don't even bother. It is one of my things - I'm a fan.
